Why Choose Online Therapy?
Comfort & Convenience
Log in from your couch, car or backyard. No travel. No waiting rooms. Just real support, where you feel safe.
Ideal for Anxiety & Sensory Sensitivities
In-person therapy can feel overwhelming if you live with social anxiety, sensory challenges or panic disorders. Virtual or phone sessions let you engage at your own pace, in your own environment.
Inclusive & Accessible
Whether you live in a rural area, don’t drive, or rely on a therapy animal — virtual sessions work around your reality, not the other way around.
Consistent Support — Even on Busy Days
It’s easy to skip self-care when life gets hectic. Virtual therapy makes it easier to show up for yourself, even when time is tight.
How Online Therapy Works
The first step in connecting with an online therapist in Fredericton or Saint John is to fill out this form. Based on your requirements, we’ll match you with someone we feel is best suited to help you.
Counselling sessions can be done online or over the phone,, whichever you prefer. Sessions typically run 50 minutes long. How often you attend sessions is discussed collaboratively and is based on your needs and schedule. You are always in control of your therapy, working at your own pace, and can choose the frequency and length to best suit your needs.
Individual Therapy sessions with a registered social worker (RSW) or licensed counselling therapist (LCT) are $150 for 50 minutes. Couples, family & specialty virtual sessions, such as EMDR and ART, are $160.
How much does online therapy cost?
Is online therapy covered by insurance?
Our counselling fees are not covered by Medicare but are covered by many extended health insurance plans.
Our clinic has therapists who are either registered social workers (RSW) or Licensed Counselling Therapists (LCT).
You must check your specific plan for what you have coverage for, as coverage is different for each policy. Verify that your plan covers counselling/therapy with a MSW, RSW or LCT. Your insurance may state you have coverage for clinical counsellor or psychotherapist, which would cover LCT or social worker.
We also offer direct billing with many different insurance companies, which allows you to keep more money in your pocket. We can direct bill Blue Cross, Veterans Affairs (VAC), Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), Canada Life, Claim Secure, Chamber of Commerce, Work Safe, NIHB, Department of Social Development, and more provided your plan is set up for direct billing. You are still responsible for any co-pay amounts at the time of service.
What happens when we don’t reach out or wait too long?
It's easy to put off therapy. But when we delay healing, the effects often spill into every corner of life:
Increased stress and emotional exhaustion
Trouble sleeping or concentrating
Strained relationships, separation, divorce
Physical symptoms like headaches or tension
Feeling stuck, alone or overwhelmed
Suffering longer than necessary
