About Me

Hello! I’m Olivia, a licensed counselling therapist candidate dedicated to fostering a safe and nurturing environment for my clients. I believe that each person is the expert in their own life, which is why I prioritize collaboration in our therapeutic journey. With a background in youth support work, I have seen firsthand the profound impact that understanding and support can have on personal growth and healing. I strive to create an environment where clients feel heard and seen and leave feeling empowered.

My Experience

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Thomas University and my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Throughout my education, I worked as a youth support worker, gaining invaluable experience that allows me to connect with a diverse range of individuals. I have had the privilege of working with youth (12+), couples, families, and adults, addressing a variety of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, interpersonal struggles, and managing anger.

My Approach

I place great importance on building strong connections with my clients. I understand that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process; therefore, I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs and goals. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) which works to help you identify what is truly important to you and live a life more in line with your values and encourages the acceptance of difficult emotions and facing them. I also employ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice, focusing on exploring thoughts and emotions and how they influence our behaviours to foster deeper self-understanding and resilience. All approaches integrated into my practice are evidence-based and have years of research supporting them.

Who I See

I see Youth (12+), adults, individuals, couples, and families.

My Practice

In my practice, I provide a safe and supportive space where individuals can explore their emotions, behaviours, and relationships. I work collaboratively with clients to address a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, interpersonal struggles, couples, family conflict, ADHD, and everyday challenges.

I believe that healing and growth come from building a strong therapeutic relationship, grounded in trust and empathy. My goal is to help clients develop coping strategies, increase self-awareness, and cultivate resilience, allowing them to lead more fulfilling lives. Whether you are looking to understand yourself better, navigate challenges, or create meaningful change, I am here to support you on your journey.
