About Me
Hello, I’m Noha, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) under CRPO (The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario). I am a bilingual (English/Arabic) therapist. I have over 15 years of multicultural experience working and volunteering with diverse populations who come from various backgrounds and cultures. Similarly, I have over 5 years of experience working and volunteering with underprivileged populations in different capacities in Saint John.
I understand the unique challenges you face can be demanding, emotionally draining, and sometimes isolating. If you're struggling to process your emotions and thoughts or manage your actions, I’m here to offer a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space where you can explore your experiences, address your personal and professional needs, and find strategies to enhance your well-being. There is no wrong doorway to live life; answers are inside us. We just need to navigate through, reframe our thoughts and regulate our emotions. Recognizing the triggers, raising self-awareness and practicing mindfulness are the major aspects of healing.
My Approach
While typically leaning towards Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindful-Based Cognitive Therapy, Emotional-Focused Therapy, and Humanistic approaches, I am flexible and understand that no one theory fits all. We may have similar struggles, but the experience is different for each individual.
Please reach out if you're feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or simply need a listening ear. Together, we can navigate these challenges and find ways for you to thrive, unlock your full potential to gain satisfaction and make positive meaning in life.
Who I See
I welcome a diverse range of clientele populations, Individuals (Children, Preteen, Teens, Adults), Couples and Families.
My Practice
I work with a variety of issues, including self-esteem, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, anger and stress management, addiction, eating disorder, marital and family conflicts and inability to cope with daily living.
During our initial sessions, you and I will delve deeply into the issues at hand and collaborate together to create a plan based on your goal(s) for addressing those issues in a way that helps you get your life back and make meaning.
I am committed to being mindful, non-judgmental, compassionate, authentic, goal-oriented, and considerate of each client's strengths during our healing journey.
