About Me
Jessica returned to psychology as a mature student and chased her dream of becoming a die-hard counselling therapist.
Taking an attentive and caring approach, Jessica pulls from different theories to approach client issues pragmatically. Understanding that everyone has a unique situation, value comes from meeting clients where they are at.
Jessica has a diverse skill set with training in cognitive, behavioural, somatic, and trauma-based interventions including accelerated resolution therapy.
My Approach
In tackling stress, my go-to tools are mindfulness strategies, designed to acknowledge stress and manage anxiety and depression. I have a strong affinity for Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as it aligns with my philosophy of empowering individuals to make meaningful choices when faced with stress.
