About Me
Hello, I’m Angela, a Licensed Counselling Therapist Candidate. I am a Yorkville University graduate who is passionate about creating a warm, peaceful atmosphere for my clients to feel safe and supported on their journey. Clients can expect to be met with empathy, respect, and understanding.
I have experience working with individuals, families, and couples from diverse backgrounds walking through day-to-day challenges, anxiety, depression, parenthood, post-partum, pregnancy, self-esteem issues, grief and loss, and more.
My Approach
I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients using an eclectic, humanistic approach to walk with individuals, families, and couples on their unique journeys. Using a trauma-informed lens, I draw from evidence-based models such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), The Gottman Method, attachment theory, family systems theory, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
Who I See
Youth (13+) and adults individually, families, and couples.
My Practice
I specialize in working with clients experiencing challenges related to grief and loss, anxiety, depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, ADHD, self-esteem, family conflict, post-traumatic stress, developmental trauma, spirituality, and relationship issues. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families.
