About Me
I recognize that life can be overwhelming. In our sessions, my goal is to provide a warm, respectful, and empathic environment. All sessions are confidential.
I have worked in various settings, including mental health and addictions, community outreach, correctional facilities, crisis intervention, outpatient counselling, and inpatient hospital settings.
I also have experience working in a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with community partners.
My Approach
I work from a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach and will work collaboratively with you to achieve your goals. As a social worker, I recognize you are the expert in your life, and we will work together to identify the challenges you are experiencing while also highlighting your strengths.
I understand the importance of using evidence-based therapies and draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy while focusing on self-care.
Who I See
I work with a diverse range of individuals including children, youth, adults, individuals, and families.
My Practice
I specialize in supporting children, youth, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, trauma, relationship issues, domestic violence, suicidality, and substance use.
